IT ISN’T OFTEN that Christoph and I both have the day off, so when we found ourselves free of any commitments on Wednesday we planned a day trip for ourselves in Stuttgart, Germany. Our first stop was at the Stuttgart Art Museum, situated directly on the Schlossplatz. It has been at the top of my list since I got here due to its impressive exterior, but I was so amazed by the clean lines and minimalistic architecture found inside that I had to take a few snapshots. The thoughtfully consistent color pallet is handsome and neutral, and the perfect vessel to showcase modern art.
